A little over a year ago, I discovered Instagram for the first time - and from that first day, I was hooked! I knew I'd really enjoy it - after all, I love taking photos; what I didn't realize though, was how much I would enjoy the people I met on there! We had our first Wellington "Instawalk" recently, and it was lovely to meet, in person, these people I had come to know so well online, and yet until then would not have known if we'd passed on the street!
Mobile phones have come soooooo far in my lifetime; I certainly find the ease with which I can pull out my phone and snap the scene on front of me remarkable! And for those times when I don't, (or can't), have my camera with me, it is indispensable! Those shots naturally end up on Instagram, but I thought I'd share some here from time to time too, and what better place to begin than with #1 -Wellington's City to Sea bridge, and a couple of it's longterm residents.....the ever-present seagulls!
